No matter the activity, tribe, time period, or event being reenacted, it is important to make yourself aware of the American Indian stereotypes still held in mainstream American culture today so you can avoid them, and help create positive impressions. The hardest part about stereotypes is most folks don’t realize the stereotypes exist; they just seem, so, well, “normal.”
